**NOT ALL DOG CLOTHING IS CREATED EQUALLY!**
Please buy our clothing according to your dog's measurements, not the clothing size.
Little Pampered Pets carries different designer labels,having different sizing charts. It is highly recommended that you read all sizing information for each piece of clothing VERY carefully to ensure you get the right size for your little one. This will help avoid any return shipping fees. If you ever have any questions, email customerservice@littlepamperedpets.com , and we will be more than happy to help you find the perfect fit.
Bargain Basement and Clearance items are FINAL SALE. Exceptions are rarely made.
In order to find the right size of clothing for your dog, please complete the following measurements with a measuring tape. Please note that these instructions are also demonstrated in our sizing video above;
1. "Chest" Size of your dogs chest, all the way round, directly behind the front legs (under their arm pits) and around the back. This is a very important measurement, so make sure it's accurate. It will tell you if a size of clothing is going to be too tight to close or so big it swallows your furry baby.
2. "Back" Length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. This is the most common measurement for clothing, however the back length will not matter if the chest measurement is not appropriate, use this more as a guide to how low your shirt or dress will be on your baby's back.
3. "Neck" a comfortable distance around your dogs neck. This size should always be measured when sizing for a collar. Remember to add two inches to your measurement in choosing a collar size.
Please refer to the clothing chart on each individual item page before making your purchase.
If measurements fall between two sizes, please select the larger size.
Here are some common questions we get about sizing that you might find helpful:
Can I contact you and have you help me pick out the right size?
YES! We encourage you toemail us and let us walk you through finding the perfect size!
Can I figure out my dog's size by its weight?
There are so many different kinds of dog breeds that it is hard to determine what size your dog would be with only their weight. Weight charts are provided below for some of our clothing lines, but these are to be used loosely only as a general guide.
My dog wears a size Small sweater and jacket. Should she wear a size small boot as well?
In most cases the answer is NO. In most of our boots, it is best to go down a size to figure out your dogs boot size. For example if they wear our Size Small in clothing they would most likely wear an XS in the boots. We highly recommend downloading the Boot Sizing PDF by
