Daisy's Delights
Treat Receipe

This recipe was provided by
the Pets Are Loving Support
(P.A.L.S.) organization in Charlotte,
NC with the permission of Karen
Williams and "Lucy &
Gabe". Daisy found a recipe
for a turkey loaf that
might satisfy the most finicky
of pooches.
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
3 tbsp. wheat germ
1/2 cup carrots
2 tbsp. minced garlic
Combine all ingredients in
a large bowl and mix well.
Put into a lightly greased
loaf pan. Bake at 350
degrees for 60 minutes or
until done. Serve slices
over dry dog food.
Note: Fresh garlic is good
for the skin, helps repel
fleas and aid digestion; parsley
will take care of the
breath! |
